Both will stop when required pressure is reached, the pressure is set by the user. The BST12 has a maximum pressure of 300 mbar ( 4.4 psi ) – this is fine for all inflatable tubes including large ribs. The BST12hp ( high pressure ) will inflate to a higher pressure of 800 mbar ( 11.7 psi ) this means that it can inflate tubes and also inflatable floors. Inflatable floors are manufactured from “ drop stitch “ fabric and to reach the required rigidity takes a much higher pressure – around 11 psi. Both pumps come with: crocodile clips to attach to battery terminals & 3 mtrs of electric cable; 2 mtrs of air pipe and numerous connectors for differing inflation valves, strong fitted nylon carrying bag, weight 1.9 kgs.
